Last night I asked my two-year old daughter about the birthday party she attended.

How old is Yossi now?

"Two"

How old are you?

"Two"

How old is your [seven month old] brother?

"Two"

Well, then how old is Mommy?

"Two"

How old is Daddy?

"Two"

Ok, how old is Papa [grandpa]?

"Three"

Listen, A Simple Jew, you'd better get off your blog right now, and submit this "out of the mouths of babes" bit to a print publication that prints stuff like this.
It's WONDERFUL! (and have your wife write it down in a book for future reference--they're lovely witticisms to reread and relay to your children when they're older)

Take it as a compliment-she has two age groups: "old" and "young." Papa is apparantly old, cause he's all of three, but you still fall in the two catagory! She considers you her equal ;)

Very cute story. I think our kids would get along great.

Missed you today. Would have loved to read something wholesome. Hope everything is okay and you are just really busy.
