It's amazing you should write about this, because I saw on Rabbi Brody's site that Rebbe Aaron of Belz was the one who told the Melitzer Rebbe that the war of Gog and Magog is over. Although I'm from a different chassidus, many people hold that Rebbe Aaron zt"l was the greatest tzaddik of this past generation (maybe a close tie with the Lubavitcher Rebbe and with the Klausenberger rebbe, but who are we to rate tzaddikim?)
