My usual question :-)- is there particular significance to this place in the photo?

Also, forgive my ignorance, but who is Rav Yaakov Galant quoted two posts down? Thank you.

MCAryeh: This is the main street of the shtetl. The children in the picture are walking towards the main square where the Jewish market used to be before the Holocaust. This square is also where the main shul was as well.

Rabbi Yaakov Galant was a Breslover chassid who lived in Eretz Israel. I will have to look in the book for more biographical details for you.

In the future, perhaps you could add the descriptions as captions to the pics, so that you won't have to keep McAryeh and the rest of us - in the dark!

Just a friendly suggestion... :))

Thanks for the suggestion, Yitz.

I actually like prompting people to ask :))
