Interesting how Chabad penetrated this deep into Russia, that these niggunim are remembered! Is this the same Slavita that had the famous printing press, run by children [or was it grandchildren] of Rebbe Pinchas of Koretz? Can you tell us anything else about who made these videos.
The one on Sudylkov is sad indeed. :(

Yes, this is the very same Slavuta where the Shapira printing press once was located. It was run by the grandsons of Rebbe Pinchas of Koretz.

As for your question who put these videos together, I am not 100% certain.

Yitz: Why do you think it is deep into Russia? Slavita was a major center of Volyn, and there were lots of chasidim there. I'm disapointed, that they didn't remember any Slavita nigunim though.

That shows the power of a niggun, the fact that these people remembered them. Were these Holocaust survivors? How many of these shuls still exist?

Frumwithquestions: I would assume that they were probably Holocaust survivors. As for your second question, I have no idea.
