re the sefer Torah.

I don't understand. Was the bullet hole only through that parsha. The sefer Torah was rolled so how did other parshios not get damaged and how did the reserchers open directly to that parsha? I am not being a misnagdishe person, just want to clarify what happened.

It’s possible the bullet just “scratched” the scroll, instead of going through.

Hello Crawling Axe,
If the bullet would graze a scroll that was rolled to parshas Toldos, then the graze would damage Toldos. Not Acharie Mos, way inside the rolled Torah. If this was an additional scroll that they had, which was rolled to Acharei Mos for whatever reason, it not as big a nes if the bullet went through that parsha.

The One Above should only bentch all the Yidden. I am just trying figure out what happened.
